The activity is part of the action program of the Confederation of ASEAN Journalists (CAJ) and the Hanoi Statement at the 18th CAJ’s General Assembly hosted by VJA as the CAJ Chair.
VJA Permanent Deputy President Ho Quang Loi briefed the participants on Vietnam’s 30 years of renewal and development and the history of the capital city of Hanoi.
Apart from the programs, specially designed for ASEAN journalists, they could freely find out more about Hanoi Old Quarter and daily life of local people.
It is expected to have more quality articles and photos of locals’ lives, Vietnam’s sceneries by those journalists during the trips. Photos of Vietnam taken during this tour would join the ASEAN photo contest which is scheduled to take place later this year.
Participating ASEAN journalists hoped to undergo wonderful experiences in Vietnam and taste unique Vietnamese cuisine as well.
