The program started off with famous songs with lyrics of encouragement and enthusiasm on the situation of the country in the 1930s when the patriotic movement took place ebulliently, and the aspiration for national independence was on the rise in the heart of each Vietnamese.
It was the aspiration for national independence that urged Uncle Ho to go overseas to find the way for national salvation and to define the core of the Vietnamese revolution as national independence and socialism. Besides, the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam on February 3, 1930, gave an end to a crisis on the policies of leadership and national salvation, opening up glorious pages for the nation. Noticeably, on September 2, 1945, millions of Vietnamese people witnessed President Ho Chi Minh declaring an independent Vietnam at the historic Ba Dinh Square before Vietnamese compatriots and the world.
That aspiration also encouraged Vietnamese people and troops to make significant victories, resulting in the national reunification in 1975.
