PANO – The Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin (VAVA) has launched various programs to assist local AO/Dioxin victims through out the country.

The association has spent VND 2.5 billion to help 170 needy families boost production, build four gratitude houses for those who are facing housing difficulties, and presented wheelchairs and gifts to hundreds of others in Hung Yen and Vinh Phuc province.

In response to the program, 10,000 people in Ho Chi Minh City joined the parade for the victims of AO/Dioxin.

* On August 9th, the Da Nang city’s Association for Victims of AO/Dioxin organized a festival for AO/Dioxin children and their parents. The Association also offered loans to 10 of the most difficult victims' families with VND 10 million each and gave gifts to 10 outstanding students.
