Students in Hanoi back to school after long period of online learning
PANO – After nine months studying online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, more than 600,000 students in Hanoi, from seventh to 12th grades, have come back to their schools with excitement and joy.
On February 10, first to sixth-grade students of schools in 18 districts and towns, where pandemic is under control, were also back to school.
Before the re-opening, schools practiced scenarios to respond to different circumstances and built detailed plans to welcome back their students in line with pandemic prevention and control regulations.
In addition, education and training establishments promoted information dissemination and regular updated teachers, staff, and students on the developments of the pandemic and prevention and control work.
Together with face-to-face learning, schools in Hanoi also prepared personnel and facilities to combine face-to-face and online learning to ensure that no students are left behind.
