PANO - From April 2017 to May 2018, Lieutenant Colonel Le Ngoc Son from the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations served at the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic. This is a country torn by civil war and poverty and one of the nations with the lowest literacy rates in the world.

While carrying out the UN peacekeeping duties, Lieutenant Colonel Le Ngoc Son spent his free time teaching 150 children in the country.

The PANO would like introduce some photos of his “special mission” in the Central African Republic.
