PANO – As proven through the thousand-year history of Vietnam, sea and islands have always been inseparable and integral parts of the Fatherland’s sacred territory. Sea and islands have become a symbol representing our ancestors’ spirits and aspirations.

Following in the footsteps of the previous generations, officers and soldiers in the whole military have been striving to undertake all assigned missions to firmly safeguard national sovereignty over sea and islands. Their sacrifice and efforts have given a new look to the Truong Sa (Spratly) Archipelago.

Images of national flags flying in the wind, children playing under the trees, and soldiers guarding the national sea and islands have become the pride of local people and on-duty troops, contributing to building a strong all-people defense posture on sea and islands.

The PANO would like to introduce several photos of the daily life of troops and residents in Truong Sa.
