PANO – Naval Brigade 147 under the Naval Region 1 Command held a  techno-tactical test on May 9 in Quang Ninh province to evaluate its recruits’ basic military skills. The contest included AK shooting lesson 1, explosive charge planting, and grenade throwing.

Thanks to the unit’s careful preparations and troops’ high sense of responsibility, the contest ended successfully while ensuring absolute safety for troops, weapons, and equipment.

All the recruits basically embraced the theory and effectively mastered their shooting, explosive charge planting, and grenade throwing skills and tactics.

According to Colonel Ngo Van Lua, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Brigade 147, this year’s training activities were conducted in difficult conditions as the COVID-19 pandemic has developed complicatedly. However, the unit has effectively carried out its training program while preventing the virus from infecting its troops.

The unit has also promoted information dissemination and encouraged recruits to fulfill all assigned missions. The efforts of the unit and the resolve of the recruits have paid off, as all of the recruits completed the evaluation contents.
