PANO - At the headquarters of the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations, officials and staff of Vietnam’s Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 2 are preparing to depart for the UN Mission in South Sudan and are urgently working on sorting and packaging goods and equipment for transport to the area.

This is the final preparation of the Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 2 before departing as scheduled on November 19. A total of 70 tons of equipment and merchandise on the UN approved list will be transported on two C17 flights supported by the Australian government, along with hospital personnel, to South Sudan. The send-off ceremony of the Level-two Field Hospital Rotation 2 organized by the Ministry of National Defense took place on the morning of November 13.
