PANO - Army Corps 18 (known as Vietnam Helicopter Corporation) under the Ministry of National Defense was established on June 1, 1989.

Over the past years, the unit has been in charge of conducting various missions, such as transporting VIPs, supporting military units in live-fire exercises, participating in search and rescue, providing flight service for oil exploration and exploitation, flying missions in search for American soldiers reported missing in action (MIA) during the war in Vietnam, providing tourist flights, providing services of helicopter pilot training, and helicopter repair and maintenance.

Over the past years, Army Corps 18 has continuously expanded its markets to provide flight services in Norway, Malaysia, Timor Leste, Indonesia, and India.

On the occasion of the 30th founding anniversary of the corps, PANO would like to introduce several photos of the unit’s task performances.
