PANO - Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da victory went down in Vietnamese history as an immortal and epic struggle for national construction and defense. The victory was an affirmation of the creative military art of Tay Son troops.

Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da victory was the convergence of patriotism, solidarity and undaunted spirit and love of independence and freedom of the Vietnamese people.

Currently, Go Dong Da (Dong Da hill) is a historical relic site in Hanoi. After the liberation of Hanoi capital on October 10, 1954, Go Dong Da festival is considered a traditional festival and a national holiday as well.

Every year, on the fifth day of the lunar New Year, people flock to Dong Da district to offer incense and flowers to heroic martyrs and recall the glorious history of the country.

The People’s Army Newspaper would like to introduce some photos featuring the festival marking the 234th anniversary of Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da victory.
