PANO – Formed on May 30th, 1959 at the Cu Chi Revolutionary Base, Gia Dinh Regiment, in wartime, bravely fought against foreign invaders and made great contributions to the cause of national liberation.
In peacetime, the Regiment continuously brought into play the traditions of the regiment, which is the pride of each staff and troops in the unit, to successfully fulfill combat-readiness training tasks.
The Regiment also actively cooperated with local authorities and other units to well carry out defence and security policies, to build a strong whole people national defence and armed forces and to raise training quality and combat readiness ability.
