It is an automatic system that can continuously perform PCR testing; therefore, the hospital can shorten the time of SARS-CoV-2 testing and save manpower. Especially, the system is set to give priority to urgent/emergency samples without affecting the operating process.

The system improves the capacity of the Military Hospital 175 in identifying infected cases, ensuring safety for the medical personnel and patients in the hospital, and more.

The hospital now is ready to support military units, localities, and businesses in taking COVID-19 testing samples.

* From August 30, Ho Chi Minh City shippers will get free COVID-19 tests at mobile medical stations in the city, according to the HCMC Department of Industry and Trade.

Shippers in the red zones, namely Thu Duc city, districts 8, 12, Go Vap, Binh Tan, Binh Thanh, and Hoc Mon must have at least one shot of a COVID-19 vaccine and be provided with rapid tests every morning at 5-6 a.m.

In the other 14 districts, shippers must be tested every two days at mobile medical stations. 

* The Military Command of Binh Duong province, in association with Ngoc Dien Investment Consultation and Service Trading Limited Liability Company and the Military Command of Bac Giang province, on August 30 presented 100 gifts to needy people affected by the pandemic in Di An city.

The gifts, worth VND 600,000 each, includes rice, instant noodles, vegetables and fruits, canned fish, and cash.

* On the day, Minh Dam Regiment under the Military Command of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province handed over 100 gift packages, valued at VND 300,000 each, to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Hai townlet, Long Dien district in support of households in lock-down areas.

The package consists of five kilograms of rice, four kilograms of vegetables, three kilograms of fruits, and others.

* By August 30, the Women’s Union chapter of District 3, HCM City had given over 5,000 gifts, worth nearly VND 1.1 billion, to pandemic-hit people, locals in quarantine and lock-down areas, and COVID front-line forces in the locality.

Also, the chapter has provided 110 gifts, worth VND 16.5 million in total, to infected cases who are treated at home.
