PANO – Military units have continued their efforts to help recent storm victims deal with its impacts to help them restabilize their life.
Troops helping locals clean up the environment
Accordingly, the Thua Thien-Hue provincial Military Command sent over 100 troops to Quang Dien district to help locals overcome storm Damrey's impacts.
Up to now, the Thua Thien-Hue armed forces have mobilized thousands of troops and militia to work with locals to deal with the storm’s impacts, contributing to enhancing the noble image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers.
* The Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) branch of Quang Binh province, in cooperation with the People’s Army Newspaper’s Youth Union, visited and presented gifts to storm victims in Viet Trung town, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province.
The delegation handed over 14 gifts, worth VND 1 million each, to needy households and 10 scholarships, worth VND 500,000 each, and eight double beds to students in Ba Ren primary and secondary boarding schools, at a total value of VND 40 million.
