PANO - Senior Lieutenant-General Do Ba Ty, Chief of the General Staff, Deputy Defence Minister received Admiral Surasak Rounroengrom, Chief of Thai Royal Navy on July 25th at the Defence Ministry’s Headquarters.

At the reception, General Ty suggested the two sides should boost cooperation, especially in the field of information and delegation exchanges, search and rescue coordination at sea, in the coming time.

Admiral Surasak Rounroengrom expressed his wish to contribute to the enhancement of the two countries’ ties, in general, and the two armies, in particular.

The Thai Admiral hoped that Vietnamese Defence Ministry and the General Staff continue to create favorable conditions for the two navies to exchange experience, learn from each other and cooperate to train officers and in mutual concerned fields.
