PANO - The Tank-Armoured Arm in association with local party committees and authorities just took care of five heroic mothers in Thang Binh districts, Quang Nam province with a support of VND 600,000 per month for each. Besides, the unit also inaugurated and handed over four gratitude houses to policy beneficiaries in the locality. The unit donated VND 70 million to build each house.

* The Soc Trang provincial Military Command has just held a get-together for over 200 high-ranking officers, local heroic mothers and heroes of armed forces.

Earlier, the command in collaboration with the Viettel branch also provided free health check-ups and medicines, worth VND 50 million in total, to over 500 needy people in Cu Lao Dung district, Soc Trang province.

On display are over 200 art works expressing contributions of the local armed forces during the national construction and defence cause.

* The Academy of Cryptography Techniques has celebrated the 10th anniversary of the first training course of information safety. During the past 10 years, the academy has trained over 1,000 engineers on information safety, contributing great efforts for maintaining information safety and security in the country. In recognition of its contributions over the past time, State President presented the Fatherland Protection Order, 3rd class to the academy’s Department of Information Safety.

* The authority of Hoan Kiem district of Hanoi on December 22nd celebrated the 70th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and the 25th anniversary of the Whole-People Defence Festival.
