PANO – The Steering Committee on Mass Mobilization between the Lam Dong provincial Military Command and the provincial social and political organizations in association with the Army Academy on November 3 launched a mass mobilization drive in Dam Rong disitrict, Lam Dong province.

Accordingly, the units will organize various activities, including popularizing of the Party’s and State’s policies to local people; cleaning environment, clearing bushes; building concrete roads; providing free health checkups for needy people and policy beneficiaries; presenting gifts to policy families and disadvantaged households; and organizing cultural and sport exchanges.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Chief of the Lam Dong provincial Mass Mobilization sub-Commission said that the drive aims to build new-style rural areas and eliminate hunger and reduce poverty in remote areas.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) provincial Committee in Lam Dong handed over three “great unity” houses, worth VND 75 million to local people.
