PANO - The Central Military Commission’s Steering Committee on the Implementation of Democratic Regulations at the grassroots level visited Army Corps 11 on June 20th and 21st.
Since last year, the corps has paid much attention to the implementation of democracy at the grassroots level. As a result, the unit improved its troops’ and defense workers’ awareness of the position, role and importance of democracy implementation at the grassroots level. The unit also perfected the document set regulating the implementation of democracy at the grassroots level to ensure openness and transparency.

Moreover, unit leaders’ activities and management became more democratic. Unit leaders paid more attention to dealing with opinions and complaints from their subordinate officers, party members, soldiers and workers.
The unit’s officers, soldiers and workers all kept their mind on their work. This helped the unit perform its political tasks more successfully.
The Central Military Commission’s Steering Committee on the Implementation of Democratic Regulations at the grassroots level highly appreciated Army Corps 11’s successful execution of democracy at the grassroots level, and ask the unit to regularly hold workshops and dialogues with the unit’s youths to better understand them, contributing to the accomplishment of its assigned tasks.
