At the meeting, representatives of the committee focused on four subjects related to the festival, namely information dissemination, performance competition and awarding, live shows to troops and local people, and organization of opening and closing ceremonies.
Over the past time, relevant units have embraced instructions from higher levels on popularizing the festival on the media to people and military units across the country, taken measures to ensure social order and security in the host locality, and stepped up preparation for opening and closing ceremonies.
So far, military theaters and art troupes of all military units have finished the preparation and layout of their artistic performances and plays for the festival as scheduled. Most of acts are to highlight the emulation movement “Learning and following President Ho Chi Minh's thought and moral example,” solidarity among neighboring countries, and traditional artistic genres.
Praising the initial preparation, General Nghia asked relevant units to continue their preparation, and the jury board and contestants to follow regulations and the festival’s objectives to make the event a success.
