The Defense Minister highly valued the role of Party committees and chains-of-command in instructing defense agencies and organizations and military units to carry out the movement in an excellent, efficient and innovative manner for the past 3 years. He hailed the great achievements of 127 outstanding examples in the movement, who represent thousands of excellent officers and soldiers across the military.
The Defense Minister then asked Party Committees and chains-of-command at all levels across the military to continue popularizing the great meaning and goals of the movement to the whole officer corps and the ranks, and to improve troops’ awareness and responsibility in implementing the movement as well as assigned tasks in the coming time.
General Lich stated that agencies and units should frequently renovate forms and contents of the movement to develop and spread the movement across the military; and at the same time, closely attach the movement to agencies and units’ task performances, contributing to building a strong military party organization in terms of politics, ideology, organization and morality, which is worthy to take the lead in the movement “Learning and following Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morals and lifestyle.”
At the event, Defense Minister Ngo Xuan Lich presented Defense Ministry’s certificates of merit to the 127 great examples while Director of the General Department of Politics granted laurel wreaths to them.
