The unit also equipped its troops with measures to prevent the acute respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and allocated hand wash gel and alcohol hand sanitizers at the barracks.

Major Dinh Ngoc Minh Hai, the unit’s Commissar, said that the unit has promoted information dissemination to raise troops’ awareness of COVID-19 while spraying antiviral chemicals and providing free medical masks to troops.

In addition, border troops, in association with other relevant forces, have strictly implemented immigration procedures and presented free facemasks to tourists to make the city a safe tourist destination.
