At the meeting, a decision of the Central Military Commission on establishing the editorial and support teams for the development of the project was announced.

On hearing a briefing on related documents, participants voiced their opinions with high responsibility over the contents of the documents, especially the outline of a report and the operation of the editorial team.

Addressing the event, General Cuong underlined the very important meaning of the resolution which comprehensively covers issues related to Fatherland protection in the current period.

He stressed that after 10 years of implementing the resolution, the country has reaped important results, contributing to firmly safeguarding the Fatherland. Thus, the contents of the documents must be well prepared to make the project effective.

The deputy defense minister also highly appreciated delegates’ responsibility and enthusiastic and profound opinions. He asked the support team to collect opinions, completed the documents, especially the report on reviewing the implementation of the resolution.

He requested the editorial team to assist the steering committee of the project to instruct, check, and urge ministries, departments, party committees at provincial and city levels to review the work, do surveys on the reality and outcomes of the implementation of the resolution to enrich the report. The editorial team should help the steering board complete the report and other documents to serve related conferences, seminars, and talks.

Due to the large volume of the work, General Cuong urged all members of the editorial team to promote their roles and responsibility to fulfill the assignments, actively contributing to the building of and carrying out the project.
