NA Chairwoman leaves for Singapore, Australia visits
A high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) led by Politburo member, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan left Hanoi on November 26 for official visits to Singapore and Australia until December 2.
She is being accompanied by several members of the Party Central Committee and the NA Standing Committee.

The visits aim to further strengthen the strategic partnership with Singapore and to promote the enhanced comprehensive partnership with Australia towards elevating it to the level of strategic partnership in 2018.
It is the visit to Singapore by a top Vietnamese legislator after 14 years since the previous trip by NA Chairman Nguyen Van An in 2003.
Meanwhile, the Australia visit is also the first by a NA chairperson after the trip by NA Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong in 2008.
