Vietnam builds school in Laos
PANO - A groundbreaking ceremony for construction of Bounneua High School, funded by the Vietnamese Government, was held in Bounneua district, Phongsaly province, Laos, on December 15.
The VND 120 billion project is in celebration of the 55th anniversary of the Vietnam-Laos diplomatic ties and the 40th year of the signing of the Vietnam-Laos Treaty of Amity and Cooperation.

Once operational in December 2018, the school with modern classrooms, a library, a playground, a catering outlet, and a dormitory, and will be attended by 1,800 local students.
The construction of the school demonstrates the attention of the two countries’ leaders to training young generations in Phongsaly province, as well as symbolizes the bilateral close-knit relationship.
