Later on the evening, NA Chairwoman Ngan visited the Vietnamese Embassy in India and talked with the embassy staff.
She said that her visit to India aimed to concretize and deepen the relations between the two countries in general and the Vietnamese and Indian legislatures in particular.

She took this chance to brief them on the homeland’s socio-economic and political situations in 2016 and targets for 2017 as well as the outcomes of the NA election and the first two sessions of the 14
th NA.
She spoke highly of the embassy’s contributions to stepping up the friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and India and defending the country’s interests as well as encouraging Vietnamese expats to contribute to Vietnam’s development.
Confirming that the Party, State and NA always pay due attention to and create favorable conditions for the operation of Vietnam’s overseas representative agencies so that they could better serve the national construction, protection and development cause.
She believed that the embassy staff would promote their solidarity, high sense of responsibility and expertise to meet higher demands during the country’s comprehensive international integration and to deserve the Party, State and NA’s trust.
In her meeting with the Vietnamese community in India, NA Chairwoman Ngan highly appreciated their heart for the Fatherland, industriousness, and strict observation of the host country’s laws. She asked them to continue being active factors and acting as Vietnamese ambassadors to India to foster the fruitful friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
She also emphasized that the Vietnamese community should further teach Vietnamese language, especially for children of second and third generations in India.
She said that the embassy should be the core in teaching Vietnamese language, during which if any difficulties arise, the embassy should make suggestions to the Vietnamese Government to take timely support measures. She also stressed that the embassy should instruct other Vietnamese associations to operate in line with their principles and the host country’s laws.
