DPRK’s National Day observed in Hanoi
PANO - The Embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in Vietnam held a banquet on September 7 evening in Hanoi to mark the country’s 70th National Day (September 9).

Representatives from Vietnam’s Ministries of Foreign Affairs and National Defense and several friendship organizations attended the banquet.
In his speech, DPRK Ambassador to Vietnam Kim Myong Gil reviewed outstanding achievements of the country over the past seven decades and thanked the Party, Government and people of Vietnam for their support for the country’s government and people in the national construction cause.
Addressing the event, Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung stressed that over the past 70 years, under the sound leadership of the Party and government of the DPRK, the DPRK people have reaped good outcomes in national construction and development.
The Vietnamese diplomat also emphasized that implementing its foreign policy of peace, independence, self-reliance, multilaterization and diversification of international relations, Vietnam attaches importance to and is willing to develop its cooperation ties with the DPRK, contributing to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world at large.
