Conference about Vietnam’s, India’s soft power
PANO - An international scientific conference, themed “India’s soft power - Vietnam’s soft power in the context of regionalization and globalization”, was jointly held on December 19 in Hanoi by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Indian Embassy in Vietnam.
At the conference, Vietnamese and
Indian managers and scientists discussed potential of the India’s and Vietnam’s soft power and measures
to boost Vietnam-India relationship as well as to multiply the two countries’
soft power in the context of regionalization and globalization.
Delegates analyzed and evaluated the
role, values and impacts of soft power, discussed how soft power impacts
national construction, protection and development.
Vietnamese and Indian scholars also
analyzed factors that create soft power, attained achievements and barriers
during the use of India’s
and Vietnam’s
soft power.
Stressing that soft power plays an
important role in connecting India with ASEAN and India with Vietnam in
different fields, delegates suggested India, Vietnam and other ASEAN member
countries further study and build suitable policies to effectively use soft
power, contributing to ensuring security, stability, and development in the
region.
