He affirmed that the delegation’s visit is part of activities to celebrate the 50th founding anniversary of Vietnam-Cambodia diplomatic ties (June 26, 1967-2017).

For his part, Nhem Valy expressed deep gratitude to Vietnamese soldiers’ sacrifices, as well as the support from the Vietnamese State and people for his country’s national defense and construction.

The front will make efforts to tighten the two nations and capitals, he stressed.

The same day, representatives from the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Hanoi chapter met with the Cambodian delegation, during which they shared experience related to front works, especially how to uphold the role of fronts in promoting national unity, patriotic movements, and in Party building.
