Workshop on national brands and green growth held
PANO – The Trade Promotion Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Institute of Brand and Competitiveness Strategy co-held a workshop themed “Brand Strategy in Combination with Green Growth” on April 19 in Hanoi.
The workshop is part of the Vietnam National Brand Program - a long-term trade promotion program of the Government, aiming at promoting Vietnam’s images and products of prestige and high quality. It also aims to help domestic and foreign distributors and consumers learn more about Vietnam’s products and brands.
At the workshop, participants discussed four major themes, namely global trend and orientation of green growth and sustainable development; green consumption trend; “green quality” – measure of brands for domination; and experience in developing brands of green businesses. Participants also discussed other issues related to green growth, shared their experiences in doing green business, and promoted cooperation for sustainable development.
