Seven-month state budget collection up 11.6 percent
The State budget total collection in the first seven months of this year was estimated at VND 666.68 trillion (about USD 29.36 billion), an increase of 11.6 percent over the same period last year.
The amount is equivalent to 55 percent of the whole year’s estimates, according to the Ministry of Finance.
In the reviewed period, the domestic collection reached VND 532.5 trillion (USD 23.45 billion), up 9.4 percent, accounting for 53.8 percent of the year’s estimates.
The budget’s revenues from crude oil and import-export activities were over VND 27 trillion (USD 1.18 billion) and VND 165 trillion (USD 7.26 billion), up 16 percent and 8.9 percent, respectively.
According to the ministry, 43 out of 63 provinces and cities collected 56 percent of their estimates upwards.
Meanwhile, the total budget spending was VND 695.16 trillion (USD 30.62 billion ), up 8.7 percent year on year. Of which, the budget investment for development was VND 119.36 trillion (USD 5.25 billion) in the reviewed period, up 15.1 percent year on year.
