Over 500 firms take part in international textile and garment industry exhibitions
PANO - A chain of exhibitions on textile-garment and footwear machinery and accessories was launched by Yorkers Exhibition Services Vietnam and the Vietnam National Trade Fair & Advertising Joint stock Company (Vinexad) of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on November 20 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event has attracted over 800 booths of more than 500 exhibitors from 17 countries. During the three-day expo, the participants will introduce technologies and showcase solutions and trend of development in textile-garment and footwear production in Vietnam and the world. The event will also exhibit machines, equipment, high-quality yarns, fabrics, filaments, and dying substances.
In the framework of the exhibitions, several seminars will also be held to discuss effective measures for the development of the garment industry, including one themed “The US-China trade war and its massive impact on the textile and leather industries”.
According to the organizers, Vietnam is the world’s third largest exporter of textiles and garments with a year-on-year export growth rate of about 10.8%, on average. Vietnam's export of garment-textiles in 2019 is forecasted to reach USD 40 billion.
