The Hanoi Trade Corporation (Hapro) will build 15 supermarkets, 200 outlets and 5 trade centres in Hanoi and other provinces in 2008, said CEO Vu Thanh Son.
This year, Hapro also plans to develop its Haprofood networks with 50 additional shops to meet customers’ demands for fresh and clean vegetables and fruits as well as seafood. In addition, the company will open a new chain of 8 “Four Seasons” and 2 “Thuy Ta” restaurants.
The corporation has set a target to reach a turnover of 6,300 billion VND in 2008, an increase of 14% compared to last year, said the leardership at a review conference held in Hanoi on January 15.
At the meeting, Phi Thai Binh, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, praised Hapro’s achievements and instructed the corporation, one of the five biggest businesses in the city, to contribute to stabilising market prices.
