The forum was an opportunity for the two countries' enterprises to assess results of economic cooperation of the two countries over the past years, and the orientation for cooperation in investment, trade and tourism, especially spiritual tourism in the coming time, as well as to exchange their experiences.

Speaking at the forum, the Nepali Prime Minister highly appreciated the outstanding economic achievements of Vietnam over the past years. He affirmed that Nepal now is making efforts to boost its economic development, so the nation has great demand for cooperation in investment and trade with other countries, including Vietnam. The Nepali Prime Minister also hoped that the two countries' firms will take advantage of their potentials and strengths and create opportunities for cooperation in the future.

According to Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Vu Tien Loc, the Vietnam-Nepal relations have continuously developed in recent years, however, the two countries still have great potential for investment and trade cooperation. Nepal is now seen as a dynamic economy which is also a potential market for Vietnamese businesses to exploit. Besides, the Nepalese business community enjoys many favorable opportunities when they invest in the Vietnamese market. The VCCI Chairman emphasized that the two countries have shared similarities in religious culture, which is a favorable condition for both countries' enterprises to promote tourism cooperation, especially spiritual tourism.

At the forum, Vietnamese Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh also informed the two business communities of the potentials and opportunities for cooperation between Vietnam and Nepal.

On this occasion, businesses of the two sides exchanged and shared their experiences at the forum.
