The “Vietnamese Cultural Days in Russia ” opened in Moscow on September 21. 

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Russian Deputy Minister of Culture E. Chukovskaya said that despite the geographic distance, Russia and Vietnam have maintained their close friendship and formed a sustainable strategic partnership and comprehensive and mutually beneficiary cooperation, firstly in culture and art.

She wished the “Vietnamese Cultural Days in Russia” a success, becoming an important event in the Russian people’s cultural life and helping boost the cultural and art cooperation between the two countries. 

Vietnamese Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh affirmed that the traditional friendship, mutually beneficiary cooperation and strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia, especially in culture and art, have developed fruitfully over the past time. 

The rotating oraganisation of Cultural Days has helped further strengthen the comprehensive relationship between the two countries and two peoples, he added. 

There are many different activities during the event, including a seminar to promote Vietnamese tourism, talks on literature, a photo exhibition and screening of Vietnamese films.
