PANO – The Military Volleyball Youth Open Tournament 2008 has kicked off at the Military Zone 3 Sports Centre with the participation of eight male teams and five female teams.

The U20 teams are divided into groups and are playing in a round robin format to select qualifiers for the semi finals.

The event aims to encourage the sports movement in army units and select players for the defence ministry’s team.

Numerous soldiers and cadres are taking part in the event.
