Langbiang pink grass festival to entertain visitors
PANO - The 2018 Langbiang pink grass festival will be held near Dankia Lake-Vang Spring by the People’s Committee of Lac Duong district from November 23 to December 2, under the approval of Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee.
During the festival, local people and tourists will have an opportunity to experience a romantic space full of pink grass, enjoy a traditional horse race of ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands, contemplate art photos of pink grass in display and enjoy local music and food as well.
It will be the second edition of the festival organized by the province, which aims to honor the unique beauty of Da Lat pink grass, contributing to diversifying local tourism products and raising locals’ and tourists’ awareness of natural protection.
Last November, despite unfavorable weather conditions, nearly 1.5 million visitors flocked to the first pink grass festival.
Pink grass, a kind of wildflower growing in pine forests in Lam Dong province for a long time now, has been more and more attractive to Da Lat city’s photographers and domestic and international tourists as well.
