Thirteen top young music bands from the Republic of Korea will perform at a K-pop Festival Concert in Hanoi at the end of November.
It is an unprecedented event, the likes of which has never been held in either country.
Part of a cultural series to celebrate the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the RoK, the concert will feature bands SNSD, Dong Bang Shin Ki, Beast, Sistar, B.A.P, T-ARA, Sondambi, Kara and Miss A.
Vietnamese singers Thanh Lam and Tuan Minh will also perform.
"This will be the biggest ever K-pop festival. We hope the event will satisfy a number of fans in Vietnam," said Park Nark Jong, director of the Korean Cultural Centre in Vietnam.
Lighting and audio experts from the RoK are working at My Dinh National Stadium to prepare for the event. Up to 50,000 fans are expected.
The event will start at 7.30 pm on November 29. Tickets cost between 350,000 VND (17 USD) and 2,500,000 VND (125 USD).
