"Hanoi Days in Ho Chi Minh City" program opens
PANO - On August 23, at Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, the Hanoi Municipal People's Committee, in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh Municipal People's Committee, opened the "Hanoi Days in Ho Chi Minh City" program under the theme "Hanoi's milestones."
The "Hanoi Days in Ho Chi Minh City" program runs until August 25 and features a variety of activities in culture, trade promotion, traditional handicraft displays, cuisine, artistic exchange, sports, and more.

The event aims to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - 2024), highlighting the achievements in building and developing the capital, and promote the distinctive cultural, heritage, and tourism features of Hanoi. The event also seeks to strengthen the cooperative relationship between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City by leveraging the potential and advantages of both localities.
At the opening ceremony, attendees and residents of Ho Chi Minh City enjoyed a special artistic program titled "Hanoi's milestones," featuring unique performances by renowned artists from both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
