A private museum, Dong Dinh, was unveiled in Da Nang City on January 28th, after 10 years of preparation.

Located on an area of 10,000 sq.m. on Son Tra Island, the museum, with an environmentally friendly architectural design, has two traditional houses displaying various ancient objects which feature the cultural identities of the people of the Central Provinces.

According to Doan Huy Giao, the museum’s curator and owner, the new museum, opened on weekends, will also organize cultural exchanges and programs.

The private museum is expected to become one of the favourite tourist attractions in DaNang City, where there are many popular tourist sites.
