PANO – More than 200 international visitors from ASEAN Fund, ASEAN Traditional Textile Art Community (ASEAN TTAC), ASEAN member countries and dialogue partners will take part in the 4th event of the ASEAN traditional textiles from March 15th to 18th at the Museum of the Cultures of Vietnam’s Ethnic Groups in Thai Nguyen province.

In this event, Vietnam, being the host will contribute the performance of Garment and Textile Organizations; traditional textile and garment villages from ethnic groups of Tay, Thai, H’mong, Dao, Muong, Pa Then, E De, M’nong, Khmer and Cham; fashion designers; artisans; distributors and producers.

The event is an excellent opportunity for Vietnamese experts, artisans, designers and entrepreneurs involved in the textile industry to learn experiences in textile, embroidery and dyeing from member countries and dialogue partners of ASEAN.

It is also to help participating countries find measures for the preservation and promotion of their traditional textile industries, popularize their textile products for further development, as well as seek cooperation opportunities.
