PM to attend 35th ASEAN Summit in Thailand
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his spouse will lead a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation to attend the 35th ASEAN Summit and related meetings in Bangkok, Thailand, from November 2-4.

The trip is made at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced.
Following the closing of the summit, Thailand will hand over the ASEAN Chairmanship to Vietnam.
Founded in 1967, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) groups 10 member countries, namely Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
