RoK commits more financial support to ASEAN in speeding up COVID-19 vaccination
President of the Republic of Korea (RoK) Moon Jae-in has committed USD 5 million this year for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to speed up COVID-19 vaccination.
The RoK leader made the commitment during the ASEAN-RoK Summit that was held via videoconference on October 26.
Expressing concern about the slow global economic recovery due to COVID-19, he stressed that solidarity and cooperation is the only way to overcome the COVID-19 crisis.
