Visiting Hoa Binh (Peace) Village in Tam Dan commune, Phu Ninh district, the delegation presented over 100 gifts to orphans and children with disabilities living there.

Youth delegates from APEC member economies visit Hoa Binh (Peace) Village.
Set up in 2010, the village is currently home to 112 orphan and children with disabilities and lonely elderly people in the locality.

They have been provided with good healthcare services, education and other social activities, said Director of the Hoa Binh Village Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh.

Leaving for Tam Thanh art community village in Tam Thanh commune, Tam Ky city, the delegation contemplated kaleidoscopic murals depicting portraits of villagers, local scenes and regional panoramas. They were impressed by the locals’ hospitality and the ways they develop community-based tourism.

The delegates also saw how artisans make colorful lanterns, a standout tourism product of UNESCO-recognized Hoi An ancient town, when visiting Lantana and Ha Linh lantern workshops.
