Exhibition "Hoang Sa, Truong Sa - Fatherland at the forefront" held in Khanh Hoa
PANO - The Naval Region 4 Command, in coordination with the Navy Museum, National Archives Center 4, and Hanoi Photo Club, opened exhibitions, themed “Hoang Sa, Truong Sa - Fatherland at the forefront” and “The heroic Vietnam People’s Navy – 70 years of safeguarding the national sea,” on March 17 in Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa province.
The two-day long event was held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Truong Sa archipelago (April 29, 1975 - 2025), the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - 2025) and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Navy (May 7, 1955 - 2025).

The exhibition displayed valuable documents, images, and artifacts, illustrating the history of establishing and defending Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos as well as the unwavering combat readiness spirit of the Vietnamese troops and people in safeguarding territorial sovereignty. It also honored the achievements of the Vietnam People's Navy over 70 years of building, fighting, and development.

At the opening ceremony, Senior Captain Nguyen Huu Minh, Deputy Political Commissar of the Naval Region 4 Command emphasized that the exhibition was an opportunity to enhance officers and soldiers' trust and pride in the nation’s glorious traditions while also serving as a tribute to those who had sacrificed themselves for Vietnam’s maritime sovereignty.
