A ceremony to welcome U.S. President Donald Trump was held at Noi Bai Airport.

After the ceremony, President Donald Trump left the airport on the Cadillac One, dubbed as "The Beast," the famous armored car of the U.S. President, and headed to JW Marriot Hotel, where he is expected to stay during the summit.

The second summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chairman of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korean (DPRK) Kim Jong Un is scheduled for February 27 and 28.

On the sidelines of the second DPRK-USA Summit, President Donald Trump will have meetings with Vietnamese Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong, and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

Earlier, before departing to Vietnam on February 25, President Donald Trump showed his optimism about the outcomes of the upcoming summit.
