Vietnam's tourism promoted at Tourism Expo Japan 2019
A Vietnamese delegation representing the Hanoi Promotion Agency (HPA) is taking part in the Tourism Expo Japan (JATA) 2019 in Osaka, Japan which is underway from October 23- 27 with the aim of promoting various locations as tourist destinations.
The Vietnamese booth features a unique pattern from the Temple of Literature, a symbol of Hanoi.

Various tourism products and services are also on display at the event through videos and images. A number of outstanding events are also being promoted, including the F1 Grand Prix and the 31st Southeast Asian (SEA) Games which are due to come to Hanoi in 2020 and 2021.
To give the area an added layer of Vietnamese atmosphere, the booth is also hosting local artists performing on a range of traditional musical instruments, helping international visitors sample more of the nation’s culture.
As many as 500 Japanese travel operators and Vietnamese partners at their earlier meetings, reached many agreements to bring Japanese tourists to Hanoi in the future.
Additionally, the HPA, working in co-ordination with Vietnam Airlines, also organised a workshop at the JATA to help promote Hanoi as a tourist destination. The event attracted more than 100 Japanese travel agencies who showed their great interest in the many fascinating places located throughout the Vietnamese capital.
