Vietjet Air has become the first
airline in the Southeast Asia to operate this
aircraft of the latest generation of Airbus.
With 230 seats, Vietjet Air’s
A321neo has its interior decorated with a unique color changing lighting system
and fine patterns. The plane’s newest engines help reduce its fuel consumption
by at least 16 percent in the early stage of operation and by 20 percent by
2020, 75 percent of noise, and 50 percent of gas emission.
This is the 17th aircraft of the
later generation that Vietjet Air has received from Airbus since 2017.
The aircraft will be put into
operation on both domestic and international air routes this month.
