Nearly 4,000 flights available for upcoming holidays
PANO - Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and VASCO – member carriers of the Vietnam Airlines Group - will provide a total of nearly 750,000 seats (close to 4,000 flights) to serve travel demand on upcoming national holidays, according to the group.
In particular, on the holiday in commemoration of the Hung Kings, the legendary founder of Vietnam, from April 8 to 12, Vietnam Airlines and VASCO will operate nearly 1,400 flights with 266,000 seats, a 10 percent increase in comparison with that in 2019 - the year before COVID-19.
Pacific Airlines will offer some 37,000 seats on nearly 200 flights.
Attentively, during the National Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1), the Vietnam Airlines Group will supply some 450,000 seats within seven days from April 28 to May 4. Of the sum, Vietnam Airlines and VASCO will offer more than 395,000 seats, a 10 percent increase against 2019, on 2,000 flights while Pacific Airlines will operate over 270 flights accommodating about 51,000 seats.
