The Sun PhuQuoc Airways project is expected to bolster Phu Quoc’s tourism. |
The airline will primarily focus on commercial passenger transport, while also offering charter flights catering to tourists travelling to major domestic and international destinations. The venture is expected to bolster Phu Quoc’s tourism, strengthening connectivity for both domestic and international travelers to the island, often dubbed the “Pearl of Vietnam.”
SPA is scheduled to commence operations in the fourth quarter of 2025, with initial routes linking Phu Quoc to prominent economic and tourism centers in Vietnam and abroad.
The new carrier complements Sun Group’s existing aviation interests, which include the premium private jet operator Sun Air serving high-end clientele.
