Ho Chi Minh City welcomes 1,000 MICE tourists from India
PANO - Ho Chi Minh City's tourism sector welcomed 1,000 MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourists from India on December 4.

The tourists come from JB Pharma, a leading Indian pharmaceutical company, and are served by the Asia Destination Management Company.
During their four-day stay in Ho Chi Minh City, the Indian MICE delegation will join meetings and stay at famous hotels, including Vinpearl Landmark 81, Saigon Renaissance Riverside, La Vela Saigon, and Saigon Muong Thanh Luxury.
They will visit national architectural artistic relic sites of the headquarters of the municipal People's Committee and the municipal People's Council and other famous tourist attractions, such as the War Remnants Museum, Ho Chi Minh City Opera House, Central Post Office, Ben Thanh Market, Cu Chi Tunnels historic site. Tien Giang-based Vinh Trang Pagoda is among their stops.
Besides, the visitors will enjoy Vietnamese and Indian food while in Ho Chi Minh City.

Bui Thi Ngoc Hieu, Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Tourism, said that the city’s tourism sector was delighted to welcome the MICE visitors from India. It is a source of motivation for the municipal tourism sector to recover soon and confirm the city’s position as one of the leading tourism destinations in Vietnam.
She added that the city’s tourism sector is striving to build unique products for visitors to the city to explore an oriental metropolis that is under modernization and integration but still upholds its own identity. The city is also building a favorable and safe environment for visitors. All is aimed at making Ho Chi Minh City a leading vibrant tourist city in Asia.
