Tan My Design is one of the 32 shopping establishments and of 36 eating and drinking establishments that have met the criteria of the Hanoi Tourism Department to serve tourists with an effort to improve the images and competitiveness of Hanoi tourism’s products and to boost consumption of Made-in-Vietnam products and those made by the capital city.
In order to develop high-quality tourist products in combination with building the capital city’s tourism brand name, the Department has urged local travel companies to build tourism promotion programs with a close link with purchasing Vietnamese products, especially specialties of different regions nationwide.
According to Director of the Department, Tran Duc Hai, the campaign aimed to honor and popularize enterprises and producers with high-quality products and services to international visitors, so that they could have further understanding of Vietnamese high quality products.
The department has also encouraged introduction of tourist products and other goods from traditional craft villages in the city at events, festivals and fairs which attract both domestic and international tourists.
Most importantly, according to experts, tourist guides should help popularize the products while connecting foreign visitors with producers and product distributors.
